The beginning of a new year started with a truly cool mini adventure for me, as I traveled to Naples, Fl to photograph my clients Dana & Ron. Dana & Ron reside in Washington DC, but traditionally like to travel South in the winter. We were so lucky with the most perfect sunny weather + some really interesting sites to explore. We started at Koreshan Historic site, which is fascinating in itself.. a former village occupied by members of a very curious faith. Then we traveled to the Ritz Carlton, where Ron popped the question exactly one year ago. Later, after strolling the Ritz grounds with champagne in hand, we ended up at a gorgeous beach and the dunes. Dana and Ron are not only the most genuine and lovely couple, they are also so good looking together.. and they know their fashion! I am very honored to have met them, and can not wait for their June wedding, yay!

One of my top favorite elements of working with wedding couples in love is capturing their pre- wedding shoot, aka the engagement session. I love to find unique spots, play with color and light, treat my couples as if they were actors in the scene by encouraging the interaction with each other, whether playful, romantic or full of theatrical drama. Check out some of my most memorable images from this past season!

Jessica and Sean chose the NYC's district of DUMBO for their engagement shoot. The mix of industrial chic, spectacular views, coastal nature, and just plain Brooklyn quirkiness is always so fun to use as a backdrop. Those two had such amazing energy, and were so lovely to capture in photos. We ended the session on their Manhattan rooftop, and in their 'basement', where Sean plays basketball : )

from Bubbie Milliie:

It's like a beautiful movie unfolding - I can't wait for the next sequel - you are both so glamorous you belong in Hollywood -- you could put any director to shame. I never knew you were both so talented. You are being wasted iin the world of finance!

Brady and Brad (and their super cute Boston Terrier pup) live in and love Battery Park city, and that's where we shot their engagement session. We ended on the roof top of their buiding that has panoramic and completely spectacular views of downtown Manhattan. They were a blast to capture.. and I loved meeting their 'little girl'!

I am back from this amazing trip, and I already miss the people, the views, the food and all the abundant goodness my spectacular home country of Poland has to offer. Krakow is very special to me.

Huge 'thank yous' to Maja and Filip for inviting me to document their love! Stay tuned for their wedding images!
