Andrea and Chris were simply stunning- first getting ready at a funky and swanky McCarren Hotel in Williamsburg/ Brooklyn, then strolling around the neighborhood & getting married @ amazing My Moon. My fab second shooter Nadine Rovner loved documenting their day. We were super impressed with all the details, and especially fantastic, woodsy designs by Tracey Reynolds of TR Floral Designs

Chelsea and Alex chose NYC's Fort Tryon Park, bursting with blooming vegetation, as the location for their nuptials.
Their sweet ceremony officiated by the couple's friend was held under majestic American elm trees, and reception was hosted by New Leaf Restaurant
My fantastic second shooter Nadine Rovner and I loved the organic, relaxed vibe of Chelsea and Alex's wedding day. Selection of images from us both below!

Megan and Jonathan, my absolutely amazing May couple got married in Wiliamsburg, Brooklyn. After their sweet, waterfront ceremony, the couple and all the guests followed a fantastic brass band through the neighborhood. Reception took place at one of my favorite venues- MyMoon! One of the highlights of the party was a Filipino dance troupe, that entertained guests and challenged them to a native dance.
My awesome second shooter was Nadine Rovner.

Joyce and Laureen met at Cherry Grove beach, in Fire Island about 20 years ago.. and so they decided to hold their three day wedding extravaganza at a nearby hotel, the Dune Point. Fire Island is accessible off the coast of Long Island by a short ferry ride, and yet it feels like a completely foreign land. It's beautiful and wild, with deer and other wildlife meandering amongst cute quaint cottages, it's so peaceful without automobile traffic, it's warm and inviting, and fun, visited and inhabited by straight, and same sex folks.
Joyce and Laureen planned their three day event as a 'retreat of sorts' for their small group of closest friends and family. There were welcome gift baskets with personalized towels, lip balm and other goodies... there was a fabulously decorated main hangout patio, with fantastic wait staff, and full catering. There was plenty of delicious cherry pie.
The couple welcomed their ferry arriving guests right on the landing deck, waving pink boas, wine glasses in hand.
After Joyce & Laureen's emotional ceremony under a tent (unfortunately the rain did not allow for a beach gathering), all the guests, sipping from miniature bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne, traveled on the ferry to Schooner Inn, a favorite local hangout, and enjoyed a performance by Porsha, a drag queen extraordinaire.
Rupert, the couple's cute pup was Belle of the Ball.

The entire wedding weekend was planned & coordinated by the best of the best- Lisa Jaffe of Fire Island Weddings.
Make up and hair by Susi Lux.
Location: Dune Point Hotel
Enormous thanks to my fantastic second shooter & friend Anne Ruthmann.

This past year was incredibly artistically & professionally abundant for me. Fantastic couples, dreamy locations, curious visual situations. I did my best to capture all that beauty, and quirkiness.. Voila!
