Over the Ocean, Through the Mountains...Jessica and Romeu

When I first heard from Jessica, her story melted my heart. She met Romeu five years ago while vacationing in Portugal. They fell in love and carried their long distance relationship all these years. Last week they tied the knot at the Marriage Bureau in NYC. I first met them at the Gansevoort Hotel for some shots. After the ceremony attended by their immediate families, we traveled around the city for more portraits. I loved documenting their love- it was an amazing day!

Fantastic and Lavish at Capitale, Danielle & Ian

Danielle & Ian were married at Capitale, one of the most dramatic event venues in New York City. A former bank, Capitale's ornate interiors, complete with really interesting original art, provide such an amazing backdrop for photography. Danielle and Ian's style, somewhat reminiscent of the Old World (don't they look like movie stars from a few decades ago?) was such an inspiration to me and my amazing second shooter Nadine! Selection of images from us both below. We were assisted by Jessica Badgley, a student at SVA, and a couple of her images are below as well.

Their ah-mazing Brooklyn wedding was just like Kristen & Vincent. Fun to the brim, witty and creative, fabulous, complete with a great relaxed vibe, and so good looking! Everyone in attendance seemed to adore it, and so did I! The Dessert Truck, and organic ice cream stand at the end of the night completely sealed the deal, and left us with great images & amazing memories.

My awesome second was Shelly.
K & V were married by super nice Reverend John E Denaro.
Fantastically designed print materials by Lauren Panepinto.
The Fete took place at the Green Building.
Yummy and beautifully presented foods by Real Food Catering.
Sexi cocktails by Barker & Mills!
Florals of beauty provided by Fox Fodder Farm.
Cake by Baked.
Dessert Truck was there!

Unbelievably blue skies, spectacular view of Manhattan, and a warm breeze from the Hudson River created a perfect ambiance for Leiley & Michael's emotional ceremony and a fun wedding reception. My amazing second shooter Nadine and myself loved working with L & M, and their cheerful bridal party!

The very thought of you makes my heart jump in joy- Liza & Brandon!

Liza and Brandon's wedding was so 'New York', so chic, and lots of fun. They had their first look  at the uber -cool W hotel downtown. Before we arrived at the venue, Tribeca Rooftop Three Sixty we got to stroll around romantic streets of Tribeca, so ethereal and lovely in the heavy overcast. The party space was quite unique- a dream come true for a loft- space lover like myself : )
Dear Liza, Brandon, Nancy- (the wonderful Mom who put so much love and attention into every single detail of this amazing event) and both Families - Thank you for having us!

Part 03- Blissfully Ever After- Audrey & Vijay

Audrey and Vijay's wedding reception was wonderful & quite unique- they spoke vows to each other, and exchanged rings. Rest of the evening was filled with fun and emotional speeches, and lots of dancing, followed by a fabulous after party.

At the start of a second day of Audrey & Vijay's wedding there was a Tea Ceremony. Later, the stunning couple changed into western outfits, and had a very romantic 'first look'. 
We loved their bridal party for their high spirits, and really great energy!

Audrey & Vijay's amazing wedding celebrated their diverse heritages (Indian & Chinese) in quite a wonderful way. It took only six outfit changes : ) over two days, but I am happy to report that now they are married, and enjoying their Honeymoon in Maldives.
First was a Hindu ceremony held at NY Ganesh Temple in Queens. Later, the couple joined both families for two respective dinners, one at Jade Asian restaurant, the other- at Akbar, an Indian venue. Enjoy a selection of images from me and my two super talented shooters: Nadine and George Weir.

Love blooming under the cherry tree- Lindsay & Alex married!

You might remember Lindsay and Alex from their awesome NYC engagement session few posts below. Their early April wedding has inaugurated the wedding season for me. The bride was gorgeous, so radiant and happy (there honestly wasn't one photo where she wasn't beaming), and together with Alex they are so fun and so madly in love with one another.
Fabulous crowd of family and friends all having a fantastic time completed that most perfect day.

Sheer bliss by the water's edge- Aimee & David !

Aimee & David's wedding at Battery Gardens Restaurant in Manhattan was just like having some Sheer Bliss pomegranate ice cream with dark chocolate chips (my favorite!). 
Luscious & delicious. Full of so much fantastic flavor. Not quite decadent, but heavenly glamorous. Sweet & tasteful. Dreamy!
